One of the ideal places to go on vacation is Rome but if you have never been there, how will you know exactly what you should be seeing? One of the first things that you need to remember about Rome is that you do not need to drive everywhere. Rome is actually one of those cities that is very compact and actually has a lot of the famous sights all clustered together, which makes this incredible city one heck of a sight on foot. There are some simple street rules which you are going to want to follow whenever you are walking around Rome though and one of them is that you actually never jaywalk. You always want to make sure that you cross at the traffic lights or you use a zebra walk, that way you do not get hurt because people in Rome do not have the law that everyone on foot gets the right of way. You also want keep in mind that you do not want to wait at the crossing expecting the traffic to stop, it does rarely happen. Whenever there is a small break in the traffic, go ahead and start walking, you probably still be scared the first time you do this, but you should be okay after that.

Now that you know that you should be walking around Rome versus driving, the next step is going to be seeing all of the beautiful and breathtaking sights that this incredible city has to offer. Have you done your research though? Do you know what sights are out there? One thing that you should not ever miss whenever you are in Rome is the Colosseum. This incredible sight is actually located in the heart of the city and is absolutely breathtaking up close and personal.

Another sight that you are not going to want to miss is the Leaning Tower of Pisa - this is an absolute sight that everyone loves and it is certainly one of the most famous buildings in the world which helped drive Italian business for centuries, so make sure that you see that one, otherwise your camera will seem a bit empty when you go back home.

Finally, you want to make sure that you see the Vatican. The Vatican is one of the most beautiful sights in the world and it is certainly one of the most famous as well. It is located right in the heart of Rome and it is so special, you might want to spend a couple days just exploring this incredible wonder!
